Michele Surya

After returning from Australia in 1996, Michele dedicated her life to yoga and the path of inner growth. Her practice integrates meditation, pranayama, asanas, relaxation, and subtle work with the vayus, the vital energies that guide breath and movement.
Michele is also an experienced bodywork therapist, trained in Vijnana Yoga, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Ayurvedic Massage. She also works as a Feng Shui consultant and pregnancy doula. Today, she teaches and welcomes groups, workshops and retreats in Portugal.
Michele is the creator of Yogua, a unique method that unites yoga and nature, integrating conscious movement, meditation, breathing, and feng shui principles. This approach invites you to “undo”: slow down, release tension, listen to your body, and reconnect with yourself. Unlike traditional practices, Yogua adapts to the present moment and the surrounding space, making each experience deeply personal and transformative.
